Undivided interest is a type of common ownership (where there are multiple co-owners), where each co-owner has the rights to use the asset in its entirety, but, at the same time, this right is not exclusive, i.e. no co-owner has more rights that any other co-owner. In real estate, an example would be a property with multiple tenants, where each tenant can use any part of the property, but also cannot forbid other tenants to do the same.
