Easement by condemnation is an easement (i.e. a right of a person to use and/or enter a property without owning it) exercised by the government. It should be noted that such an easement is still a subject to more important laws. For example, in the US the government must compensate the owner of the property under the easement by condemnation, and in Europe such an easement must be justified as necessary for a democratic society.
