Easement appurtenant is an easement (i.e. a right of a person to use and/or enter a property without owning it) that is assigned to a property, rather than a person. For example, an appurtenant easement attached to a land can automatically allow entry to any owner of another land, whose respective property is only accessible through this land with the easement.
