Apartment category: Type 119
Type 119 is one of the apartment complex types built in Latvia, i.e a category of Latvian residential property. It has been built starting from 1980 and up until present times. In the capital city of Riga it is mostly found in the neighbourhoods of Ziepniekkalns, Zolitūde, Iļģuciems, Pļavnieki, Purvciems and Čiekurkalns. It is typically built from reinforced concrete.
Residential complexes of this type typically have 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10 floors. The height of each floor is 2.5m. Type 119 buildings usually have only recessed balconies (i.e. loggias), but not regular ones. As for additional infrastructure, they typically have an elevator and a garbage chute.
