French project is one of the apartment complex types built in Latvia, i.e a category of Latvian residential property. It has been built starting from 1984 and up until present times. In the capital city of Riga it is mostly found in the neighbourhoods of Pļavnieki, Purvciems and Dārzciems. It is typically built from monolithic reinforced concrete.
Residential complexes of this type typically have 16, 17 or 18 floors. The height of each floor is 2.5m. French project buildings usually have only regular balconies, but not recessed ones (i.e. loggias). As for additional infrastructure, they typically have an elevator and a garbage chute.
